A pole of the audiovisual industry that expands creative economy

Despite being the smaller of the five regions of the country, the south of Brazil, formed by the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, has a population of almost 30 million people and it has stablished itself as an important industrial pole. Likewise, the emergent entertainment and culture industry has an outstanding role in the region.

These three states are part of the Triple Border region and maintain historical relations with the neighboring countries of Argentina and Paraguay.

The South region of South America in a whole promotes businesses that promote creative economy and extend the expression of the regional audiovisual sector. Together with tourism, the audiovisual productions assume a very important role in the development and the international promotion of the region.
